3 Questions to Ask Budtenders to Get the Best Out of Your Cannabis Experience
We all love our budtenders.
They welcome us with open arms to our favorite place on the planet.
They show us the best in stock and recommend our new favorite products to us.
They’re our friends, our mentors, our guides.
But when we have the right questions to ask budtenders, we can get so much more out of our cannabis experience!
Here are some questions to consider asking next time you stop in to your favorite dispensary.
1. “I’m new to cannabis… what do you recommend?” OR “I smoke weed every day. Whatchu got?”
Letting your budtender know how experienced you are will help a ton with letting them help you choose a product that’s best for you.
If you’re new to cannabis, or it’s been a long time since you’ve tried it, your tolerance to THC will not be the same as someone who’s smoking daily.
Your budtender will know how dank of flower or how many milligrams of THC you should start with based on how frequently you use cannabis.
2. “What are the best products for pain relief?” OR “I’m trying to get lit, bro. What’s the best weed in here?”
Telling your budtender what you’re planning on using your cannabis products for will be a huge indicator of what kind of products they recommend for you.
If you’re more interested in exploring cannabis’s many medicinal benefits, there are a wide array of products that will be perfect with you.
If you’re looking for a higher medicinal dose, please come to the dispensary with your doctor’s recommendation.
Feel free to ask a budtender about how to attain one.
But on the other hand, if you’re just trying to have some fun, there are a ton of products ready for you too. And all you need is a California-issued ID and to be over 21.
3. “What will put me to sleep?” OR “What will get the party started?” OR “What will make me melt into the couch?”
These questions will narrow it down even more for your budtender to recommend products to the specific feeling that you want to achieve.
For example, if you want to chill and feel relieved of any pain of the mind and body, your budtender may recommend that you try a strain called The Cure.
But if you just wanted to catch some zzz’s, they may recommend Lights Out instead.
